COPE’s Human Resources (HR) Department coordinates employee care from job inquiries, applications, new hire processing, benefits, payroll, training and development, and ongoing staff needs.  The HR team wishes to help in any way possible. The goal is to provide the best customer service possible to both the community and to staff. At COPE it is important that employees are able to balance their work lives with their family and personal lives. Employees accrue personal time off (PTO) from the date of hire, usable after three (3) months of employment. Employees can also accrue and use up to 40 hours of Earned Paid Sick Time.

Eligible employees can receive eleven (11) paid holidays per calendar year. Paid holidays include:

Retirement Plan 403(b)

COPE Retirement Plan/403(b)

COPE’S retirement plan uses Nationwide for employees’ 403(b) investments.  Eligible employees are automatically enrolled in COPE’s 403(b) retirement plan to encourage saving (employees can opt out). Employees may contribute a percentage of their biweekly earnings to the plan from date of hire. After one year of service, COPE may contribute to the employee’s retirement plan, making savings grow even faster. Employees are 100% vested from date of hire.
